If you build it, they will come…appears it applies to hotels in the cornfields, as well as baseball fields…Indy has come a long way since I moved here in the late 1960s and the sidewalks were rolled up on Friday evening and put out again early Monday morning. Like any city, it has its issues, but overall its a good place to live…
I agree. Most cities Indy’s size has a starting point where they begin to revitalize their image and around the city with economic development. Indys issue has always been that it’s surrounded by more well known and established cities that pulled more attention from what all central Indiana as a whole has to offer. Now with Hamilton County and other doughnut cities, Indy and its metro is starting to get a lot of outside attention that this is a great place to live and invest.

I think they should build more high-rise residential towers downtown instead of the boring 5 story apartments scattered around downtown. Eventually they will run out of real estate so maybe think building upwards.
