  1. He’ll probably continue practice of small donations to political candidates for big TIF rewards and congratulate himself on being a real entrepreneur.

    1. Please list your professional accomplishments, preferably in alphabetical order to make it easier to scroll through.

    2. David C., does Lauth give fairly small donations to political candidates, say like $10,000 to Brainard, and get huge tax advantages through TIF? Is that illegal? Of course not, but does it make it right, definitely not. Should it be celebrated? 100% not. Things like Lucas Oil refusing to play that game recently with HQ move should be celebrated.

I ran and lost twice (and not even close, got blown out) in Carmel, school board and township trustee. You can figure out who I am from that. It is clear “We the People” prefer cronyism (and liberal school boards), but that doesn’t mean we should celebrate it. If this new leader acts like Lucas Oil and never does another TIF deal, I will celebrate that.

Clearly, by questioning my credentials on a semi-anon forum shows you think I am just a complainer. Nope, a complainer who at least put his name on the ballot. Maybe things will change from my pointing it out here. One of my professional accomplishments gives me the opportunity to get free meals on Monday, and others have kept me from having to ask anyone for a handout such as a free meal, or a major tax break.
