  1. A deep state rag tries to scare the public into supporting a move that will embolden and enrich the deep state. Color me surprised.

  2. All those problems also occur if the government does not rein in spending. In my experience, the sooner you acknowledge a problem and start actually dealing with it, the easier it is to fix. By contrast, allowing rationalization, justification, and denial to be your crutches for not dealing with the problem only makes matters worse.

    1. You reign in spending when you do the budget in a few simple months.

Using the debt limit is just resorting to domestic terrorism.

  3. The problem with waiting for the budget process is that congress has not agreed on a budget in the last 5 years yet the spending goes on— so how do you think that will turn out? Change will not occur unless these guys are standing on a burning platform.

    1. Your burning platform is called a government shutdown. It happens frequently.

Defaulting on our debts would be the best gift in the world to the Chinese as they seek to increase their power.

Again, Republicans should make Biden sign the same debt ceiling bill they made Trump sign.
