  1. So this all but guarantees that all rentals will be corporate, as the first 10% of each subdivision built will get these permits and squat them, and existing homeowners will turn over while corporate rentals will sit on them forever.

  2. 10% is way to high. Our subdivision has had this cap for years and there’s a common denominator with the disruptions in the neighborhood…..the renters. They don’t have a financial stake in the community so they don’t care about the HOA rules. They let the houses and property “go” and it brings down the property values. Apartment people shouldn’t rent houses.

  3. Are we sure these families are responsible enough to own their own homes?

    Likely better a mega corp takes care of them and just rents them out to the families.
