Admittedly this industry is still evolving so problems could reasonably be anticipated.
What I have not seen is any industry/government planning on how all of these lithium batteries will be disposed of when the vehicles are disposed of in the future.
If occasional incidents are occurring now, what will be done when tens of thousands, or more, of these cars with these huge batteries are no longer viable?
