King is on his second tour of duty with IBJ, having served as its real estate and arts reporter from 1996 to 1999 and rejoining the paper in 2009. Over 35 years working for newspapers and magazines across the country, he has covered most beats on the typical masthead, including business, sports, city government, arts and consumer issues. He lives near Broad Ripple, and when he’s not working he enjoys traveling with his wife, an IPS high school teacher, and his son, an IPS second-grader.
