Bio

Bryan Mills has served Community Health Network for nearly four decades. He was appointed president and chief executive officer on May 1, 2009, and previously served from 1992 to 2009 as CEO of Visionary Enterprises Inc. (VEI), a for-profit affiliate within Community. Mills began his career with Community in 1985 as a member of the leadership team that opened Community Hospital North.

Mills is very active in the local community. He is a member and past chair of the boards of the United Way of Central Indiana and Indiana Hospital Association. He serves on the boards of the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation and Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, and also chaired the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville. Mills is an active member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church and within the Noblesville community.

He is a graduate of Ball State University and has been honored by Ball State with the President’s Medal of Distinction, the Accounting Lifetime Achievement Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award. In both 2022 and 2023, the Indianapolis Business Journal included Mills among its “Indiana 250” recognition of the most influential business leaders in Indiana. He was inducted into the Indiana Area Council of Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame in 2023.

Bryan and his wife, Cathie, have four sons and four grandchildren.

Bio

Indiana State Sen. Ed Charbonneau represents Senate District 5, which includes Pulaski and White counties and portions of Jasper and Porter counties.

Charbonneau has served in the Senate since 2007 and is chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Provider Services. He also serves as a member of the Senate Committees on Appropriations; Rules and Legislative Procedure; and Tax and Fiscal Policy.

Prior to being elected, Charbonneau served as president and CEO of The Methodist Hospitals, Inc., president and CEO of the Northwest Indiana Forum, and head of Government and Community Affairs for U.S. Steel. He has been involved in a variety of civic activities, including the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Legislative Caucus, the Council of State Governments – Midwest, the Porter County and Lake County chapters of United Way, the Northwest Indiana Quality of Life Council, Opportunity Enterprises, Home Field Advantage Foundation, and the Board of Trustees of the Indiana Dunes Environmental Learning Center.

He is a graduate of Wabash College (BA), Loyola University, Chicago, IL (MBA) and South Texas College of Law, Houston, TX (JD). He is licensed to practice law in Indiana, Texas, Pennsylvania and Federal District Court, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States. A former member of the U.S. Army Reserves (1966-1972), Charbonneau resides in Valparaiso with his wife, Sharon. They have two children and seven grandchildren.
