Anderson plant temporarily halts Nesquik production-WEB ONLY

The new Nestle plant in Anderson stopped production of Nesquik this week after an unrelated inspection found maintenance issues, the Anderson Herald Bulletin reported last night. Nestle has corrected the problem but is awaiting approval from the state surveyor to resume production. Seven injured in prisoner van crash-WEB ONLY

Police are investigating a crash involving a transport van loaded with prisoners. The accident happened just after midnight near 69th Street and Keystone Avenue. Five prisoners, a Marion County sheriff’s deputy and the driver of the other vehicle were all taken to local hospitals. None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
