Most of the jobs, 189, are in Indianapolis, according to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. The rest are in Lafayette, Bloomington and South Bend. The layoffs will be finished by Jan. 23, the state said.
DHL U.S. Express is owned by Germany-based Deutsche Post AG. The pull-back, announced in November, was driven by ongoing losses and is expected to affect a total of 5,400 American workers.
