to 30 percent lower this heating season compared to the last one.
Vectren says the 568,000 natural gas customers
in its north service territory should see the savings if temperatures are normal this heating season. The territory covers
much of the middle of the state, from Allen, White and Tippecanoe counties in northern Indiana to Clark, Floyd and Jackson
counties in the south.
The utility cites greater supplies and less demand for the lower costs.
