under an Interstate 465 bridge in Indianapolis.
The state Department of Transportation on Monday opened all three
lanes of eastbound I-465 traffic on the city’s northeast side after it said tests found no structural damage to the bridge’s
steel beams from Thursday’s crash and explosion.
The agency says contractors have finished replacing a concrete
support column that was knocked out by the crash. The ramp from southbound I-69 onto I-465 to the city’s east side is expected
to reopen before Tuesday’s morning commute after crews finished removing equipment and replacing a damaged guardrail.
