later than expected after work was suspended over the summer because of roof problems.
Organizers are planning
a January 2011 grand opening for the 1,600-seat hall at the Regional Performing Arts Center in Carmel.
The center’s
executive director says construction of the concert hall will be completed in November 2010. Steven Libman says small concerts
and rehearsals are planned before a week of grand opening activities.
The concert hall had been scheduled for a
fall 2010 opening but much work was halted in June so that cracked steel in the building’s rotunda could be repaired.
