The
International Center of Indianapolis partners on an ongoing basis with the U.S. Department of State to bring visitors from
all parts of the globe to meet professional counterparts here through the International Visitor Leadership Program.
Visitors have come from the legal field, not-for-profit management, education, health, politics and interfaith dialogue,
among others.
Opportunities for hosting in 2010 will begin in February, and volunteers are recruited year-round.
Hosts provide dinners in their homes, and are welcome to invite neighbors and friends, including children. Typically,
there are no more than three or four in a group of visitors.
For more information or to volunteer as a dinner host,
contact Lindsey Nierman at 955-5150, ext. 230, or lnierman@icenterindy.org.•
