The company, which provides third-party logistics and supply-chain services, this week notified the Indiana Department
of Workforce Development of the upcoming job losses.
The closing of
the Perry Road site near Indianapolis International Airport resulted from a customer’s decision to cease operations
at the location, the notice said.
Of the 126 workers expected to lose their jobs, 41 are material
handlers and 35 are configuration technicians. NAL said some of the employees might have the opportunity
to transfer to another unit within the company.
NAL provides supply-chain services for companies
in the communications, high-tech, health care and retail industries.
It had revenue of $75 million in 2009.
