In a country where Neo-Nazis and La Raza (“The Race”) can campaign on public streets espousing their hateful and racist views, it strikes me as odd that he feels a Christian prayer in a public forum somehow restricts his rights.
Despite the American Civil Liberties Union’s anti-Christian successes, the Constitution simply says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion … .” From what I can tell, it doesn’t say “No one should ever have to hear words they don’t agree with.” Freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion.
