The Indiana Department of Transportation and Miller Trailways have begun bus service to more than 30 Indiana communities
along five routes.
The partnership called Hoosier Ride is helped by a $2 million federal grant and will operate at least one trip daily in each
direction using Miller charters along four routes running between Indianapolis and Evansville, Muncie, Seymour and Kalamazoo,
Mich., by way of Elkhart and South Bend.
A fifth route travels along Interstate 64 and connects Louisville, Ky., with Morganfield, Ky., by way of Evansville.
The routes connect with existing Greyhound bus service in Evansville, Indianapolis, South Bend, Louisville and Kalamazoo.
