Fund-Raising Results
Legacy Fund received $811 as a result of Alex Estes’ Eagle Scout fund-raising project.

Grants
Boy Scouts of America’s Crossroads of America Council received $10,000 from Kroger Co.

Fifteen Indiana youth organizations received a CHAMPS grants from Indiana Sports Corp.

Chad Bauman received $80,000 from the Univeristy of Southern California’s Center for Religion and
Civic Culture and the John Templeton Foundation.

Gleaners Food Bank received a $100,000 matching pledge from Kroger Co.

Wishard Memorial Foundation received $10,000 from March of Dimes Indiana Chapter.

Thirteen Central Indiana human service agencies received a total of $387,228 from United Way of Central
Indiana.

In Recognition
University of Indianapolis business students received first place at the APICS Great Lakes District Student
Case Competition.

Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart PC was named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the
Indiana Chamber.

Seven Kightlinger & Gray LLP attorneys were included in 2010 Indiana Super Lawyers. Fifteen
were included in the Rising Stars list published in the 2010 Indiana Super Lawyers.

Six Lewis Wagner LLP attorneys were included in the 2010 Indiana Super Lawyers. Nine were
included in the Rising Star list published in the 2010 Indiana Super Lawyers.

Twenty-two Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP attorneys were included in the 2010 Indiana Super Lawyers.

Sara Laycock received the Sue H. Talbot Distinguished Hoosiers for Higher Education Member award from Indiana
University.

Marcia Stone received the Entrepreneurship Mentor of Excellence Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central
Indiana.

Blue & Co. LLC was named to the “Best Places to Work in Indiana” list for the second consecutive
year.

James A. Knauer, Jay P. Kennedy and Madalyn S. Kinsey were named 2010 Indiana Super
Lawyers
