A division of Indianapolis-based Calumet Specialty Products Partners LP has been awarded a $132 million federal contract,
the U.S. Department of Defense announced Monday.
Calumet Sales Co. Inc. received the contract to supply aviation fuel to the Defense Energy Support Center at Fort Belvoir,
Va. It beat out at least 26 other bidders for the contract, which runs through April 30, 2011.
Calumet, a refiner and processor of specialty lubricants, is scheduled to report first-quarter financial results May 5.
Analysts on average expect the company to earn 37 cents per share, compared with 24 cents per share in the previous quarter,
on sales of $609 million.
Shares of Calumet have risen from $10.50 to $23.61 each in the past year.
