In high school, Tanner Blais started detailing cars for friends and family to earn money. He never stopped. As he grew his business, Pristine Auto Spa, Blais realized he couldn’t manage the business and attend college, so he chose to pursue Pristine. In 2018, he co-leased his first shop to be able to offer services from a storefront. At the time, he had three employees. In 2019, he took on a partner. They moved their shop to its current space off East 65th Street and Binford Boulevard and now have 17 employees.
