Enrollment during the period rose 17 percent, to more than 57,000 students as of Monday, the first day of the summer semester.

year.
Ivy Tech enrollment has more than doubled from fewer than 72,000 students 10 years ago to more than 150,000 today.
Ivy Tech last year surpassed the Indiana University system to become the state's largest post-secondary institution.
