Jessica Maginn serves as senior marketing and communications specialist at Indy Women in Tech, a not-for-profit focused on empowering women and girls to pursue STEM-related careers. As the lead for marketing, communications, social media and sponsorship, Maginn manages all aspects of marketing from inception to execution. After graduating from college in 2019, Maginn wanted to get into philanthropy. She started working at Pacers Sports & Entertainment in the premium services department while also tutoring and animal sitting on the side. Early in 2020, she landed her position with Indy Women in Tech. “I have the opportunity to work alongside the most incredible women united by a common purpose: assisting women in achieving success and inspiring young girls to confidently pursue their dreams,” she said. Maginn has secured new mutually beneficial partnerships, increased
the organization’s brand awareness and brought in new donors
and volunteers.•
