Ryan Ritchie is a lobbyist for RJL Solutions, serving some of Indiana’s most vulnerable Hoosiers, including children in the Department of Child Services system, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the aging population, and those struggling with mental health and addiction challenges. “When our team is able to assist our clients in changing policies at the local, state or federal levels to remove barriers for these individuals and expand opportunities that allow them to thrive in their homes and communities, I feel immense pride for the work I do,” he said. “While the job is not always easy, I find the ability to make a difference in the lives of so many makes every moment of my career worthwhile.” After graduating from Ball State University in 2018, Ritchie pursued an internship at the White House, where he assisted the first lady’s staff in handling all correspondence directed to her and the first family. From there, he moved into an entry-level role on Capitol Hill as a staff assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, then returned to Indiana and worked as a legislative assistant at the Indiana Senate. There, he met the RJL Solutions lobbying team and was hired for the 2021 session of the Indiana General Assembly. Since joining RJL Solutions, he’s moved from government relations coordinator to director of government relations to vice president of government relations.•
