Anderson University is expected to announce Thursday that the Indianapolis Colts will move the team's training camp from
Terre Haute to the Madison County campus, the Herald-Bulletin is reporting on its Web site. Colts President Bill
Polian is slated to attend the news conference, according to the newspaper.
A Colts representative contacted by IBJ would not confirm the report.
City officials have been working for some time to get the team to return to Anderson—where it conducted its summer
camp for several years before relocating to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology more than a decade ago. Early last year, they
thought they had a deal, but Polian announced in April that the team would stay in Terre Haute.
Citing an unnamed source, the Herald-Bulletin said a news conference is scheduled for Thursday morning at the university.
Construction on the football field and AU's wellness center have fueled speculation about the Colts' return.
