The southern Indiana park says Koch died Sunday evening at his home of what the family believes to be complications from diabetes.
Koch led the amusement park for 20 years, during which time it added a water park and several world-class roller coasters. The park near the town of Santa Claus set an attendance record in 2009 as it drew more than 1 million visitors for the fourth straight year.
Holiday World spokeswoman Paula Werne says the park will be open Monday and that it will continue to be owned and operated by the Koch family.
