The Friendly Village mobile home park in Greenwood has been sold to an Illinois-based investment firm through a court-appointed
receiver.
Terms of the sale, announced Thursday, were not disclosed.
The buyer of the 527-lot mobile home park, Indy Mobile, has developed and managed multi-family and retail properties throughout
the Midwest and West valued at $300 million.
Indy Mobile’s purchase of Friendly Village represents the company’s first acquisition in the Indianapolis area.
The company said it plans upgrades at the property to improve occupancy.
Choice Properties Inc. is the former owner of the mobile home park, which spent 18 months in receivership before the acquisition.
Indianapolis-based Tikijian Associates represented the receiver, Michigan-based McKinley Inc., in the transaction.
