Marian University, a small Catholic college in Indianapolis, has appointed Russell Kershaw dean of its Clark H. Byrum School
of Business.
Kershaw was a business professor at Butler University from 1996 to 2008, serving as interim dean of Butler’s business
college in his final year. He has spent the past two years as business dean at Philadelphia University.
Kershaw earned a doctorate in accounting from the University of South Carolina, as well as business degrees from Babson and
Bentley colleges. He worked 12 years as a manager at Massachusetts-based Digital Equipment Corp. and New York-based General
Electric Co.
Marian’s business school has 300 students, with the largest numbers in accounting and finance programs.
