Charlotte, N.C.-based Perfect Fit Industries LLC plans to close its plant in Loogootee in southwest Indiana, resulting in
the loss of 95 jobs.
Perfect Fit, which manufactures bedding accessories such as mattress pads, pillows and comforters, notified the Indiana Department
of Workforce Development on Wednesday that it will begin letting go employees on Oct. 5.
The company expects the facility to close by the end of the year.
Perfect Fit was founded in 1932 and has grown to become one of the largest home-textiles suppliers to many of the nation’s
largest retailers, according to the company’s Web site.
