A new financial center intended to give Ball State University students a taste of the nation's often chaotic stock markets
opens this fall on the Muncie campus.
School officials expect the 1,300-square-foot Center for Capital Markets and Investing to become a major hub at the college
by creating an atmosphere that closely simulates Wall Street.
The new center will be a classroom and laboratory where students get experience in the same technologies used nationwide
by financial institutions and develop the skills and confidence necessary for financial industry careers.
In addition to simulating a real-world environment, students will be able to work toward Bloomberg Certified credentials,
a highly valued asset for finance professionals.
