Indianapolis-based ExactTarget said Tuesday that it has acquired Australia-based mPath Global, which has distributed ExactTarget's
e-mail marketing technology and services throughout Asia Pacific since 2005.
More than 150 clients in Australia, New Zealand and Asia previously served by mPath will now be served directly by ExactTarget
teams based in Sydney and Melbourne.
Chris Gartlan will lead ExactTarget’s Australian operations as managing director.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
ExactTarget’s purchase of mPath is the company’s third acquisition in the past year. In September, ExactTarget
acquired United Kingdom-based Keymail Marketing and launched a new international division in London. In March, it announced
the acquisition of San Francisco-based Twitter platform CoTweet.
