Daniels' office said Wednesday he will lead about 40 business leaders and elected officials on an economic development trip to China and Japan next month.
The governor will meet with government and business leaders in both countries during the Nov. 6-17 trip. It will be Daniels' second trip to China and fifth trip to Japan since 2005.
The trip will include visits to Shanghai and Zhejiang in China and Nagoya and Tokyo in Japan. A highlight will be meetings with officials from automakers in both countries.
The trip is funded through private donations to the Indiana Economic Development Foundation.
