Indianapolis-based Prosolia Inc. has restructured its top management.

Peter T. Kissinger, CEO since 2005, has stepped down. Filling his spot is Research Director Justin Wiseman.

Justin Wiseman Wiseman

Wiseman “is an inventor on the primary company technology and he is ready to lead as the company moves beyond the development stage,” said Kissinger, who is better known for his research at Purdue University and founding of West Lafayette-based Bioanalytical Systems Inc.

Kissinger remains chairman of Prosolia.

Meanwhile, Kevin Bosacci, who was involved in Prosolia’s founding, has resigned as president “to pursue other opportunities.”

The company’s board also said it elected as a board member John C. Hertig, executive director of the Alfred Mann Institute for Biomedical Development.

Prosolia develops mass spectrometry devices used in the life sciences and industrial chemistry. The company licensed and commercialized desorption electrospray ionization technology from Purdue.
