The governor's office said Daniels on Monday also would attend a reception in Shanghai for graduates of Indiana colleges and universities.
Daniels and about 40 government and business officials from Indiana are scheduled to be in China until Sunday. The governor and a smaller group will then go to Japan for meetings until returning to Indiana on Nov. 17.
This is Daniels' second trip to China and fifth trip to Japan since taking office in 2005.
