Five federally funded extensions of unemployment benefits expire this week, and it wasn't clear whether Congress would vote to extend them again.
Workforce Development says about 90,000 people in Indiana currently receive federally funded extended benefits. About 16,000 of those receive last-resort benefits, and those are set to expire Dec. 12.
A $25 weekly stimulus payment that was included with unemployment benefits expires Dec. 19.
