Jim Tellus has been promoted to president and general manager of WTHR-TV Channel 13. Tellus has been vice president and general manager of WTHR and the Skytrack Weather Channel since January 2008. Tellus took over as general manger for Rich Pegram, who departed the company suddenly in November 2007.
"Jim has done an outstanding job since arriving at WTHR," said Michael J. Fiorile, vice chairman and CEO of Columbus, Ohio-based Dispatch Broadcast Group, WTHR’s parent company.
