As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowRick’s Cabaret International Inc. has agreed to purchase The Gold Club of Indy, an adult entertainment venue, for $1.6 million in a deal that includes the real estate.
The acquisition is expected to close by the end of the year. It will be the Houston-based strip club owner’s first location in Indianapolis, according to a Tuesday press release announcing the deal.
The Gold Club is located at 3551 Lafayette Road, near West 38th Street.
Rick’s Cabaret, which is publicly traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange, operates 21 clubs nationwide and is looking to expand in the Midwest. On Tuesday, the company reported a fiscal-2010 loss of $8 million on revenue of $83 million.
