The 15,000-square-foot facility could create 75 jobs over the next five years, according to the 12-year-old company.
Last year, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered MD up to $335,000 in tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants. Plainfield and Hendricks County officials pledged property tax abatement and recruiting assistance.
MD Logistics already operates a 22,000-square-foot cold storage facility in Plainfield and more than 750,000 square feet of warehouse space in the town.
The new facility "allows us to respond quickly in improving and expanding our services to customers in the growing biologic medicine and life sciences industry in Indiana," said MD Logistics CEO Mark Sell.
