As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Brightpoint Inc. said Tuesday it has won a contract to handle supply-chain services for the regional phone carrier Allied Wireless, a division of Atlantic Tele-Network Inc.
Brightpoint did not disclose any financial details.
The company said that it will take over direct sales of Allied's wireless service, as well as billing, shipping of equipment and other functions. Allied is based in Little Rock, Ark., with about 800,000 customers in six states.
Brightpoint shares fell 9 cents, to $9.31 each, in midday trading Tuesday.
