Freezing rain coated central Indiana with ice and another round was expected to begin Tuesday afternoon. Legislative leaders were concerned about safety in those conditions and decided to cancel.
The House and Senate were scheduled to hold several committee meetings Tuesday as well as floor sessions. Bills slated to be considered Tuesday will be rescheduled for other dates.
