The United Steelworkers says union members from across the state will attend the Tuesday afternoon event. The union says it is concerned about what it calls the "anti-worker agenda" of the Republican majorities in the Indiana House and Senate.
Union regional director Jim Robinson says its members consider the "right-to-work" bill misguided and divisive.
Such a law would prohibit union membership and fees from being a condition of employment. Its backers argue it would remove an impediment to business in the state, while opponents say such laws drive down wages.
