On April 14 and 15, locally based Fabric Care Center will clean and press one business interview suit for any job seeker free of charge, as long as the customer brings a current resume when dropping off clothing.
"This offer is a way to help people in the Indianapolis area who are in need, and at the same time show our appreciation for being part of the greater Indianapolis community," said Fabric Care Center General Manager Tom Prionas.
Founded in 1960, Fabric Care Center is at 5760 W. Morris St. The value of clothes cleaned free is limited to the $10.50 charge for one standard two-piece men’s or women’s business suit. The offer also applies to three affiliated dry cleaners: Addie’s 45 Minute Cleaners at 930 Indiana Ave., Royal Cleaners at 1350 W. Southport Road, and Toula’s Alterations at 1029 W. Main St. in Carmel.
A pair of professional staffing firms is also participating in the promotional event. Job seekers will be offered the opportunity to have their resumes forwarded to locally based Express Employment Professionals, which will follow up to discuss potential job opportunities. Locally based staffing firm Ncompass Group LLC, which specializes in corporate recruiting, is also participating in the offer. Its staff will be on site at the dry cleaning stores both days offering job hunting tips.
