Directors of the Indiana Minority Supplier Development Council have appointed Carolyn E. Mosby the organization’s new CEO.
Mosby’s career began in 1990 with the Indiana Department of Administration Office of Minority Business Development. She since has served in marketing and public relations positions for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including Kiwanis International, Veolia Water, U.S. Steel-Gary Works and Nicor Gas Co.
Mosby is a native of Gary and the daughter of the late Indiana state senator, Carolyn Brown Mosby.
The nearly 40-year-old IMSDC helps minority-owned companies get corporate contracts. Mosby is the organization’s third CEO since longtime leader Donald Jones retired in 2004.
