Doctors wanted in McCordsville
Lauth Property Group will build prime medical space in one of the region’s fastestgrowing suburbs.
The Indianapolis developer will offer more than 20,000 square feet in McCordsville for primary care and specialty care groups such as cardiology, obstetrics and urology, said Dawna Powell, senior director of heath care facility development at Lauth.
Hancock Regional Hospital will use the other half of the 50,000 square-foot medical building. It is the latest of nearly a dozen satellite facilities for the hospital, offering services such as urgent care, physical therapy, imaging and laboratory work.
Lauth plans to begin work within four months on the two-story medical complex. It will be in the area of Mount Comfort Road and County Road 800.
McCordsville has been helping drive a growth boom in Hancock County, which ranked as the third-fastest-growing Indiana county, based on census data released last month.
