Feeney, who starts Aug. 1, will leave his post as senior vice president of fundraising at Cathedral High School. Feeney is the former owner of Feeney Hornak Mortuaries.
Starfish offers one-on-one mentoring to promote college readiness for high-achieving students who qualify for the 21st Century Scholars program. Feeney has served as a mentor since the organization’s founding. He succeeds interim CEO Mike Holland and former CEO Joyce Johnson.
