Skillman said this week the delegation of business and community leaders will leave in September and focus on job creation. She also plans to meet with Japanese companies with operations in Indiana.
The delegation plans to visit Tokyo, Ohta City and Nagoya. The group also plans to help with earthquake relief in the Tochigi Prefecture. The prefecture is Indiana's sister state.
The trip is being paid for through private donations.
