Courtney Brown has joined Lumina Foundation as director of organizational performance and evaluation.

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis School of Science has added the following assistant professors to the department of mathematical sciences: Julia Arciero; Karol Kozlowski; Yaroslav Molkov; Jian “Frank” Zou and Wei Zheng. Le Luo has joined the department of physics as an assistant professor, and Christine Picard has joined the department of biology and the forensic and investigative sciences program as an assistant professor. Mamunur Rashid has joined the department of mathematical sciences as a full-time lecturer, and Denise Slayback-Berry has been named a full-time lecturer in the department of biology.

The National Association of Water Cos., Indiana chapter, has elected the following officers: Thomas Bruns, Aqua Indiana, chairman; Alan DeBoy, Indiana American Water Co., vice chairman; and William Reedy, United Water, secretary-treasurer.
