As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowCruiser RV LLC, a lightweight travel-trailer manufacturer based in Howe announced Friday morning that it plans to add 200 jobs by 2014 as part of an $850,000 expansion.
The northeastern Indiana company said the investment will go toward leasing a 140,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in nearby LaGrange to add machinery for a new production line.
Cruiser RV, which currently has 140 employees, will begin hiring for manufacturing and administrative positions this month.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it will provide Cruiser RV up to $1.75 million in performance-based tax credits based on the company’s job-creation plans. The town of LaGrange will consider additional tax abatement and tax-increment financing bonds.
