Avon-based Nolan Security & Investigations, a provider of security services for private events and companies, said it plans to hire as many 300 part-time and full-time workers to serve new clients.

The company said the expansion is being prompted by recent “dramatic growth” in clientele, as well as the potential for more growth next year.

Wages for the new jobs start at $11 an hour, said Cinda Kelley-Hutchings, executive director of the Hendricks County Economic Development Partnership.

Nolan Security completed the Partnership’s Excel program geared toward helping small businesses grow.

The company, founded in 2006 by a former police officer, is located at 5250 E. U.S. 36 in Avon. It currently employs about 50 people and expects revenue of about $2 million in 2011.
