The Journal Gazette of Fort Wayne said Megan Ornellas plans to work for The Consulting Consortium when she leaves state government.
Former Hoosier Lottery Director Kathryn Densborn resigned last month amid controversy over spending on a posh new lottery headquarters. Gov. Mitch Daniels tapped Ornellas to temporarily run the lottery.
Ornellas is the former chief of staff at the Family and Social Services Administration, and The Consulting Consortium has a $5.2 million contract with FSSA. But Ornellas told the board she had no contact with the company or any involvement with the contract.
The State Ethics Commission approved Ornellas' plans Thursday.
