The 7,500-square-foot restaurant will be the second in Indiana for the popular casual dining chain known for its deep-dish pizza and Pizookies (fresh-baked cookies topped with vanilla bean ice cream).
The restaurant is planned for the southeast corner of Campus Parkway and Town Center Boulevard, a state filing shows. It would join several other sit-down restaurants in or near the Noblesville lifestyle mall, including Stone Creek Dining Company, Houlihan’s, Mo’s Irish Pub, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Olive Garden.
The Huntington Beach, Calif.-based BJ’s chain opened its first central Indiana location in 2008 at Greenwood Park Mall. It operates 115 restaurants in 13 states, with most of the restaurants in California and Texas.
The restaurant will not technically be a part of the mall. A spokesman for Simon Property Group Inc., which manages Hamilton Town Center, said in an e-mail that the company is not leasing space to BJ’s.
