The auction Friday night ended with no bids, The Indianapolis Star reported.
Up for grabs was a package of about 50 buildings willing to be wrapped in Super Bowl-related advertising banners for as much as $100,000.
Partner Chris Price of Mattison Corp., the company that held the auction, says the idea behind it was to attract not only media companies but individual advertisers themselves.
Price says one media group has placed a hold on 11 buildings near the three-block Super Bowl Village and Monument Circle to be used for outdoor advertising. He declined to identify the company until the contract is final.
